When to put your bins out this Christmas

Published: 13 December 2022

wingDomestic bin collections in Worcester will run as normal over Christmas. There will be no changes to collection days.

Bins will also be collected on the normal days in the following week, commencing 2 January.

Check which day your black or green bin will be collected.

Don't forget to make sure your bins are placed out by 7am on your day of collection.

Remember: you can put large cardboard boxes, Christmas cards (except glitter ones) and wrapping paper (excluding foil or glittery paper) in your green bin. Tin foil and tinsel need to go in the black bin.

There will be some minor changes to the commercial collections used by many Worcester businesses, with commercial non-recyclable waste collections for Monday December 26 to take place on Tuesday December 27, and commercial recycling waste collections for Monday December 26 taking place on Wednesday December 28.

Commercial non-recyclable waste collections for Monday 2 January will take place on Tuesday 3 January. Commercial recycling waste collections for Monday 2 January will take place on Wednesday 4 January.
