The Mayor of Worcester, Councillor Allah Ditta, is holding a concert at the Guildhall on Wednesday, July 31, as part of his fundraising drive to support four local charities.
Cllr Ditta is devoting his year in office to supporting St Richard's Hospice, Worcester Wheels, Headway Worcestershire and Worcester Cathedral.
The concert at the Guildhall, starting at 7.30pm, will be an evening of Ghazal, folk Geet and Punjabi singing with two acclaimed performers, Sabir Mirza and Aahista Aahista.
Cllr Ditta said: "This will be a memorable concert with two of the best Punjabi and Pakistani music performers in the UK. They are both making the wonderful gesture of giving their time for free to help raise funds for some of the best-loved causes in Worcester. It's an evening that's not to be missed."
