Worcester City Council is offering local residents additional support to help them complete Census 2021.
"Billions of pounds are allocated to local services across the country using census-based information every year," says Adrian Gregson, Vice Chair of Worcester City Council's Policy and Resources Committee.
"However, money can't be allocated to services for 'invisible' people – which is why we're counting on every person living in Worcester to take part in the 2021 Census.If you're struggling to complete the form, please get in touch and we will help you through it."
The City Council's Customer Service Centre at 89 High Street Worcester (WR1 2EY) will provide face-to-face help from Monday 15 March to 4 May, Monday to Friday from 9.00am – 4.00pm.
The Centre in Worcester will also be open during Census weekend (20 – 21 March) for the following hours:
Saturday 20 March - 9.30am until 4.00pm
Sunday 21 March – 10.00am until 3.00pm

The national Census Contact Centre has set up a dedicated number to call for people who wish to request a paper copy on 0800 876 6276.
Census day is Sunday 21 March 2021. You need to complete your questionnaire on or around this date so that a snapshot of the population as it stands on that one day can be taken – giving a consistent picture for the whole country.
In England a census is run every ten years by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
By law, your Census details cannot be given to the DHSS, tax office, immigration or any other Government department. Individual records are kept confidential for 100 years, providing an invaluable resource for future generations to study.
The final day for completing the Census is 4 May 2021.All citizens in England have a legal requirement to take part. Non-compliance can attract a fine of up to £1,000.
