Fans are encouraged to bring their own chairs along.

Councillor Lynn Denham, Joint Leader of Worcester City Council, said: "This World Cup final is set to be an unforgettable moment for the Lionesses, their legions of supporters and for the nation.

"I'm delighted that the City Council has been able to act quickly to get this big screen in place in the heart of Worcester and I hope residents and fans will enjoy getting together to cheer on our incredible women's team.

"Good luck to the Lionesses!"

Councillor Marjory Bisset, fellow Joint Leader of the City Council, said: "The achievement of the Lionesses has been incredible to watch. They are inspiring women and girls across the city and the whole of the country.

"The big screen in Cathedral Square is a chance for fans in Worcester to get together and enjoy all the action and the swelling national pride that our women's team has created. Here's hoping we see them raise the cup!"
