Review of polling district, places and stations 2024
Notice
- Notice is hereby given that Worcester City Council is conducting a review of polling districts, polling places and polling stations that fall within the City of Worcester.
- The review will be carried out in accordance with the Representation of the People Act 1983 (as amended by the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013).
- The (Acting) Returning Officer for the Parliamentary Constituency of Worcester will make comments on the existing arrangements and proposed amendments and those representations will be available on Worcester City Council’s website, and at the Guildhall, in accordance with the timetable set out below.
- Worcester City Council invites representations from electors in the Worcester Parliamentary constituency, elected representatives, political parties and disability groups. Worcester City Council would welcome representations on its proposals and the (Acting) Returning Officer’s representation from all residents particularly disabled residents as well as any person or organisation with expertise in access for persons with any type of disability.
- Persons or bodies making representations about specific polling station venues should, where necessary, identify alternative polling places and polling stations if possible.
- Documents relating to the review can be inspected on the Council’s website at www.worcester.gov.uk/voiceit or at the Guildhall.
