Trotshill Orchard Group – Volunteer days
When: 3rd Saturday of most months 10:00-13:00
Where: Meet at 10am on site, end of Trotshill Lane East, Warndon Villages.
Cost: FREE!
The Trotshill Orchard Group continues to successfully manage and enhance a stunning Fruit Tree Orchard located on Trotshill Lane East in Warndon Villages. This work includes a range of practical tasks as identified by the group. All tools and equipment provided just bring appropriate clothing and boots.
- Drinks and biscuits for all willing volunteers!
- No need to book, just turn up on the day.

Fort Royal and Commandery Healthy Walk

When: Every Tuesday 10:30 - 11:30
Where: Meet in the Commandery Shop
Walk Length: Walks will vary each week averaging 1 hour but always start and finish at the Commandery.
Enjoy a walk through some of the City's green spaces and enjoy a well earned cuppa at the end. Everyone welcome!

Friends of Warndon Villages (FoWV)– Volunteer days
When: Fourth Tuesday of each month 10:30 – 13:00
Where: Meet on site in Warndon Villages or at Lyppard Hub (check email or FaceBook for location).
Cost: FREE!
The Friends of Warndon Villages Group are an active volunteer group based in Warndon Villages aspiring to enhance the many public open spaces and green network within the area. Activities include various planting, installing park furnishings, pruning trees and vegetation and anything else as required! Tasks are identified by volunteers in liaison with the Parish Council and City Council Wardens.Tools and gloves provided, but please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Tea and biscuits for all volunteers! No need to book, just turn up on the day.

Swan Sanctuary Working Parties
When: Third Wednesday of the month, 10:00 – 12:30.
Where: Meet at the north end of Bromwich Parade, near the main road bridge.
Cost: FREE
Join Swan Food Project volunteers to help with various practical tasks to help the swans and other wildlife. Tasks could include cleaning and weeding the bridge steps and boathouse steps, trimming shrubs to give swans safer and easier access to the river. Those who wish to can stay after coffee to help with the swan feeding at 12:30, which would take about 30 minutes. Tools provided.

Warndon Healthy Walk

Walk Length Length: approx 2 miles / 45 mins
Shorter walk: (under 30min) On the second Thursday of each month

Fort Royal Gardening Group
When: First Thursday of the month, 10:00 – 12:30
Where: Fort Royal Park & Commandery Gardens
Cost: FREE
Join the Park Keeper and a friendly group of volunteers to look after the Commandery Gardens and Fort Royal Park. Share skills and knowledge with like-minded people while carrying out tasks such as weeding, sowing, planting vegetables and bedding plants, followed by a cup of tea. No experience needed, tools and gloves provided, please wear sturdy footwear and outdoor clothes. Meet in the Commandery Shop.

Friends of St. Peter’s Parks (FoSPP) - Volunteer Days
When: Every first Thursday of every month 10:30 – 13:00
Where: Meet on site in St Peter’s, check email or FaceBook for location
Cost: FREE
The Parish of St Peters wants to enhance the use of its many open spaces. Volunteer days are held on every 1st Thursday of the month. The work is a mix of seasonal practical work and community engagement projects. Tools and gloves provided, please wear suitable clothes for the weather and sturdy footwear. Drinks are provided but don't forget your lunch!

Gheluvelt Riverside Healthy Walk - Gheluvelt Park

Worcester Canal Group Litter picks
When: Usually the Last Saturday of each Month, 10:30 – 12:00 (contact Matt Jenkins in case of changes to dates)
Where: Meet in Lansdowne Park off Lansdowne Road
Cost: Free
Join the Worcester Canal Group volunteers for our regular litter pick along the canal towpath, covering the canal between locks 4 and 5. All equipment is provided, although please wear suitable clothes. Afterwards some of us have a drink in The Chestnut Inn.
